This grant sequoia tree was out in 1895 to allow stagecoaches to pass through the center of the tree in the Mariposa Grove, visitors will find the largest stand of sequoia trees in Yosemite National Park. Typically, a mature tree will weigh over 2 million pounds. Some are 3, 000years old, others reach a height of 300 feet and some may be more than 50 feet around. Foto van Chris Loberg
