Cesky Krumlov, kaart van Natalie uit Praag

The first written reference to Cesky Krumlov dates back to the year 1253. The Krumlov branch of the Vitkov Family died out in 1302 and the Krumlov statate passed into the hands of the Rosenberg. The last of the Rosenberg line, Petr Vok, was then forsed to cede Krumlov to Emperor Rudolf Hapsburg II in 1601. The Eggenberg family then took control of Krumlov in 1622 during the Thirty-Year War with the financial assistance of the emperor. The town was later inherited by the Schwarzenberg family in 1719 once the Eggenberg had died out. Cesky Krumlov has been a UNESCO cultural and natural heritage since 1992.

Natalie woont in Praag en is wel eens op bezoek geweest naar deze prachtige plaats.
